ACM's Special Interest Groups are different subgroups within ACM designed to bring students who have similar interests together in order to learn more about specific topics in Computer Science. These groups meet one or more a week to learn about their subject or participate in something outside the scope of solely the classroom. Partaking in these SIGs look great on resumes and are great additions to traditional classroom work in order to instill passion in Computer Science and learn more about a subject than your peers!
